Do It Yourself!

The program I developed (Aareader5.bas) and associated files are available for download and will allow you to interpret a string of amino acids, translate them into Hebrew and then into English.You will need to contact me so I can email the program to you.

However to do the interpretive exercise on this website on genes other than those processed here you will need:

1. A copy of the Liberty Basic Interpreter program (professional version preferred)
2. Some experience of Basic
3. A copy of my dictionary data files and the Aareader4 program
4. Understanding of how to download files of amino acid sequences in letter form from data bases
5. Know how to format and store those sequences
6. Understanding of the output format of the Aareader4 program
7. Some limited knowledge of Hebrew grammar
